Home: Use the Freemie breast milk collection system at home to help manage a busy schedule or household. Use the Freemie system simultaneously while breastfeeding to manage your milk supply and time more efficiently.
Work: With a little advance planning of your attire, pump discreetly at your work station without ever undressing. No more hiding in bathroom stalls, or sitting in your car in the parking lot to pump, and then having to stay late to catch up on your work!
Travel:
Travel with the Freemie system to express milk on the go whenever a private place can't be found. Frequent Flyers Please Note: You may be able to pump in your seat in flight with your battery powered pump, but be aware that variations in airplane cabin pressurization may adversely affect the performance of your breast pump.
Why pump here in a hurry, exposing yourself to dozens of travelers, when you can relax in-flight while you pump?

The Freemie system is not recommended for full time use in the following situations:
The Freemie devices have a slightly larger than standard size 25mm breast funnel that is designed to fit most women. 24mm is generally considered "standard." The Freemie breast funnel is comparable in shape and size to the standard plastic funnel found in most traditional breast pump kits. No reliable data is available, but some medical experts estimate that as many as 30% of women may benefit from a larger than standard breast funnel, though it is also comonly held among experts that a woman may benefit from different sizes at different times. If you think you need a non-standard breast funnel at all times, the Freemie system may not be right for you to use in place of your traditional funnels and bottles 100% of the time. However, if you sometimes skip pumping because you cannot undress, and your milk supply is adversely affected, a partial or less than perfect pumping session with the Freemie may be helpful, allowing you to avoid severe engorgement, and then allowing you to pump more thoroughly with your preferred adapter as soon as your situation permits. If you are not sure what size breast funnel you require, consult a lactation professional before making a purchase.
If you prefer to watch your milk ejection reflex while pumping, the Freemie system may not be right for you as a full time solution, because the Freemie system is intended to be worn concealed in your bra. Your pump's original, hand held adapters may make it easier to watch your milk ejection reflex, but you may also find it useful to have the Freemie system available to maintain your milk supply for occasions when privacy is not an option.
If you like to manually massage your breasts while pumping, be aware that your ability to massage while pumping with the Freemie system will be limited by your clothing, since the Freemie system is worn underneath normal clothing. If you cannot pump at work because of privacy issues and so must use the Freemie system, be sure to make time later for hand massage.
If you experience pain while pumping with your pump's original equipment, consult your lactation or medical professional. The Freemie system is not recommended.
CAUTION: Do not use the Freemie system with an unapproved breast pump. (See Compatible Breast Pumps .) Improper use or use with an unapproved pump may cause damage to your pump, or injury to you.
Always consult your lactation professional with questions or concerns about breastfeeding and the proper use of a breast pump to maintain your milk supply.
